Technology Time

Today in Room 8 we had our first technology session. We were learning about how to write music. How is this related to technology?? Because near the end of the term we will be making instruments to play our own music on.
In this session we focussed on Rhythm (sound movement) and Dynamics (volume). We clapped a few songs and learnt that different words could fit in to the same rhythms. We also learnt that it was very tricky to finish at the same time, but we got there! Room 8 very quickly realised that dynamics are like turning our TVs, Computers, and Stereoes up or down.

This person used two symbols to represent different 'instruments'. They also used a range of dynamics, including a diminuendo which is where the music would get quieter.  Fantastic work!
